Make a list of items you don’t want to forget, add a point whenever you think of it and write it down. I learned that if I don’t want to forget something, than I have to write it down.

Make copy of Important Documents
If you lost passport or if your vehicle is stolen and with it the Certificate of Title for the vehicle, then you will need the copy to make the complaint to the police or to the embassy. You can use paper copy, cloud space or app, there are a lot of app to save a copy of documents.

Learn Culture and Common Phrases of the Local Language
Learn culture not only can you find out interesting things, but makes it easier to interact with those people when you will come in contact with them. Learn common phrases like “Please”, “Thank you very much”, “I’m sorry”, “I need help” in the local language will open you to dialogue. Also, it’s important to be educated and not shut yourself into your own.

Ask The Locals
Ask the locals about the best restaurants, where to admire the best sunset and the best landscape, the best coffee shops, where are the ATMs for withdrawing cash, etc. Locals are your best travel guide.

Enjoy every moment
Stay focus on the present, with little or no concern for the future.
Enjoy your trip!
