This adventure holiday in the Sahara Desert has been a wonderful experience.

We visited one of the biggest deserts in the world, the Sahara (UK: /səˈhɑːrə/, /səˈhærə/; Arabic: الصحراء الكبرى, aṣ-ṣaḥrāʼ al-kubrá, ‘the Great Desert’) and we experienced this journey in the purest and most respectful way, living in a kind of symbiosis with the nature, our group and the sand. Sand has been a faithful and steady travel companion, which followed us through this extraordinary adventure.
We spent five nights bivouacking in complete autonomy among the dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental (Arabic: العرق الشرقي الكبير ) before reaching the plain of Bir Aouine, with its amazing peaks and going up back to Sif Es Souane. Then we moved from the south to the oasis in Ain Ouadette and back again in direction of Timbaine.
This journey donated us not only stunning sceneries, but also (and above all) the chance to stay in touch with our inner self.
This trip let us observe the true essence of reality and the contents in our minds beyond all of the influences of intellect.
In this places where there is no tourism and where we had to be followed by security detail every day, we experienced an adventure that, step by step, left us closer as a group. It made us rediscover the delight in making small talk around the bonfire and the excitement of admiring millions of stars.
The journey was arranged by Ave4x4 which we can highly recommend because of their competence, kindness and skills. We would give them the highest rate, without a doubt.
